"I saw Rush at my high school dance in 1972 in Burlington Ont. at Lord Elgin high school. First dance in the fall. We were 15 years old. My buddy and I went the dance, we said look at the bass player strange shoes. (platform shoes!). It was on Friday night, 95% it was September, 1972. I looked in my year book, (Lord Elgin High School Year book, 'Encore 1972'), no mention of any dances."
