The below advertisement from the October 12th, 1974 issue of Billboard magazine includes a few tour dates which were apparently later changed and/or canceled by the band. These include, 10/9 Don Kirshner's Rock Concert, 10/16 Memphis, Tennessee, 11/4 Upper Darby (Philadelphia), Pennsylvania, and possibly more. However, it also confirms the 10/18 Kansas City, Kansas, date which dispels a previously believed Hammond, Indiana, date with KISS (see advertisement below, this show did not happen per Ian Grandy).
"We were rehearsing at S.I.R. in L.A. for 5-6 days and stayed at the wonderful 'Sunset Marquis' in Hollywood then we did Don Kirshner's Rock Concert in L.A. one night. I'd been charged with 'careless driving' in Tampa a month or so before, so I left early and caught a flight to Florida, settled the matter and flew back to Dallas. The band crew and gear flew in from L.A. the day after Kirshner's and we played that club in Dallas that night...got out of the club at about 2A.M., left at 5A.M. for a 600 mile drive to Kansas City and did our first gig with Hawkwind the next night (featuring the nefarious Lemmy on bass) for a few dates in Missouri, Nebraska and Kansas. So in 48 hours I was in L.A., Tampa, Dallas, and then K.C. I fell asleep on the cases while they played, that's f/n tired." - Ian Grandy, via email September 28, 2010

Based on the Billboard's listing of the 10/18 Kansas City date which was confirmed by Ian Grandy, it appears that Rush did not open for KISS in Hammond, Indiana on that date as previously believed based on this advertisement:
