- Windows: Right click on the desired image, then choose "Save Image As" or "Set As Desktop Background".
- Macintosh: Hold down the Option Key, and click on the desired image. A window will popup allowing you to download to the folder of your choice. If you want to preview the full-sized image first, click on the desired image which will then open the full sized version, then click and hold on the image and a menu will appear with the option to save the image (or download image to disk, depending on the browser you're using). After downloading, go to "Control Panels" and open the "Appearance" menu. You will find two desktop options: after selecting the choice on the left, the "Place Picture..." button will un-gray itself (both buttons are grayed out until a selection is made). Click "Place picture..." and a second menu will appear called "Choose a file". Find the saved file, select it, and click "Choose".
- Hints For Widescreen Monitors: Having trouble displaying these wallpapers on your widescreen monitor without distortion? These wallpapers were created to fit traditional 4x3 perspective monitors, therefore if you "stretch" them to fit a widescreen monitor it distorts the image by stretching the width more than the height to fill space. Unfortunately it is impossible to prevent this without literally cropping the top and/or bottom of the image to a widescreen perspective. Suggested use for traditional 4x3 images as widescreen wallpaper: set the position to "center", then choose a background color of either black, or a color complimentary to the wallpaper (although black seems to work best). It won't fill your widescreen, but it will look better.
Featuring high quality Rush art from the albums and tourbooks for use as desktop wallpaper, most of these images were simply cropped to fit your monitor, while others were manipulated (requiring a few liberties) to fit the 4x3 proportion.
